Beschreibung
The SLS AMG was unveiled at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 2009 as the ‘Super Leicht Sport’ (hence the name) and as the first vehicle developed entirely in-house by AMG. Sales of the coupé began on 27 March 2010, with the roadster following in November 2011. The 6.2-litre V8 engine (571 hp, 650 Nm) was hand-built at AMG in Affalterbach (“One Man, One Engine”). Power is transmitted via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission in a transaxle configuration. This Mercedes SLS 63 AMG Coupé, with its distinctive and unique gullwing doors – one of 8’114 vehicles built – was completed on 11 May 2010 and first registered in the USA on 30 May of that year. Finished in Sapphire Red Metallic with beige/black Designo Exclusive leather upholstery and equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes, a reversing camera and Park Distance Control, automatic climate control, a memory package for seats, steering wheel and mirrors, a high-end sound system and AMG trim elements in aluminium, the SLS was well equipped. In 2015, the stunning coupé was acquired by a dealer, who sold it to the SLS specialists at Micar AG in Lenzburg. In 2016, with around 7’700 km on the clock, the stunning coupé was imported into Switzerland and registered here. In 2025, the Mercedes was acquired by the current owner and added to his small collection. With three previous owners, now 11’750 km on the clock and a complete service history, the vehicle is in very good and extremely well-maintained original condition. The car’s last MOT was performed in April 2025.
