The SLS AMG
Unveiled in 2009, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was conceived as a modern interpretation of the legendary 1950s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.
More significantly, the SLS represented an important milestone in the history of AMG as the first complete road car developed independently by Mercedes-AMG.
At its heart is AMG's M159 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, producing 571 PS and driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle. Its bespoke aluminium spaceframe, front-mid-engine configuration, rear-mounted transmission and signature Gullwing doors made the SLS a genuine clean-sheet AMG sports car rather than a high-performance derivative of an existing Mercedes-Benz model.
The combination of its naturally aspirated M159 V8, bespoke AMG engineering and unmistakable Gullwing architecture has established the SLS as one of the defining Mercedes-AMG road cars of the modern era.

The exterior is finished in AMG Daytona Blue Metallic (950U), complemented by a designo Exclusive two-tone Sand/Black leather interior (555A) which is considered exceptionally rare.

An Unusual Early History
Manufactured in 2011, the car was originally built by Mercedes-Benz for the Chinese-market where the unique colour combination has special significance.
According to information passed down by its previous owners, the car formed part of a very small number of similarly specified SLS AMG Coupés originally intended for China which ultimately remained in Europe being retained and subsequently sold new in 2013 by Mercedes Benz. The first registered German owner reportedly acquired two cars in the same specification.
This car subsequently passed to its second owner, who used it sparingly as part of a significant collection, before being acquired by its third and current owner in 2026.
Today it has covered just 13,600 km from new.
