Beschreibung
2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster
There are very few modern Mercedes-Benz models that already carry the presence of a future classic. The SLS AMG is undoubtedly one of them.
Created as a modern tribute to the legendary 300SL, the SLS combined one of the most recognisable designs of its generation with something that was already becoming increasingly rare: a completely naturally aspirated, hand-built AMG V8.
The legendary 6.2-litre M159 produces 571 hp and 650 Nm, sending its power through the 7-speed AMG Speedshift DCT. No turbochargers, no hybrid assistance, just a large-capacity V8 with instant response and one of the most memorable soundtracks of its era.
The SLS was famously praised by the motoring press as one of the best-sounding cars of its time.
The “6.3” badge is a small nod to AMG’s history, paying tribute to the legendary 6.3-litre Mercedes V8s that played such an important role in the company’s early years.
But what makes this particular SLS truly exceptional is its condition and specification.
Showing just 8,900 km from new and with only two owners, this Roadster is as close to a time capsule as one could hope to find.
It is finished in the exceptionally rare and beautiful AMG Sepang Brown Metallic, also known as Rocky Mountains Metallic, paired with a brown leather interior and beige/brown soft top. The triple-brown combination is particularly elegant on the SLS and gives the car an understated, almost bespoke appearance.
The overall impression is remarkable. The car retains the feel of a virtually new SLS, with its exceptionally low mileage, two-owner history and immaculate presentation making it a particularly interesting example for the collector.
Before delivery, the car will receive a full service at Mercedes-Benz and four brand-new tyres, making it completely ready for its next owner.
The SLS Roadster was the last of a certain breed, a dramatic, naturally aspirated AMG V8 grand tourer, built in an era before downsizing, turbocharging and electrification became the norm.
Today, examples with this mileage, ownership history and specification are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
A genuine collector’s SLS AMG Roadster, presented in exceptional, virtually new condition.
