Introduced in 1998, the BMW M5 E39 is the third generation of BMW’s M5, renowned for its perfect balance of performance and comfort. This generation stands out for its naturally aspirated V8 engine producing 400 horsepower, setting new standards for sports saloons of its era and making the E39 the first M5 to be equipped with a V8 engine. True to BMW’s philosophy, the M5 features more aggressive styling, specially tuned sports suspension and distinctive bodywork, while retaining the understated elegance that defines the model.
