● Timeless elegance by Paul Bracq

● The comfort of a luxury saloon

● Over €7,500 in invoices
In the late 1960s, Mercedes-Benz established its reputation as a benchmark manufacturer in terms of quality, comfort and durability. The W110 series, launched at the beginning of the decade, embodied this reputation with its elegant saloon cars designed by stylist Paul Bracq and equipped with technical solutions that were modern for the time. The top-of-the-range version of this series, the 230 symbolised the move towards greater power and refinement, while retaining the robustness that had made the ‘Heckflosse’ so successful.
The example we are presenting was delivered new in France in 1967. It has been well maintained and comes with a file of repair and maintenance invoices from Garage Longchamp in Paris, totalling over £7,500 over the last few years. This constant attention to the mechanics and preservation of the vehicle makes it a particularly attractive piece for classic Mercedes enthusiasts.
Equipped with its 2.3-litre inline six-cylinder engine, the 230 offers a smooth ride and the typical sound of Stuttgart-built cars of that era. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an iconic German saloon.
