Over 20 years ago, Chuck Beck started a company in Brazil to reproduce the legendary Porsche Speedster. Beck is world-famous for high quality, hand-made, high performance 356 Speedster replicas. Many other versions are built by mounting a fibreglass body on a Volkswagen Beetle pan. The result is a car that drives much like a Beetle. Manufacturing techniques have come a long way since the early models and the cars built within the last 10 years are miles ahead of the first versions. The foundation of every Beck Speedster is the 3” DOM tubular chassis, this is important to note as a purpose built chassis will contain the correct torsional rigidity without compromise whilst still being able to offer the original 356’s spacious footwell areas.
