Beschreibung

It was 1994 when the Porsche 993 Cup made its debut, for the first time in the Porsche Supercup. The following year he was also able to fight for the titles in the Carrera Cup. The technical improvements to the predecessor 964 included a six-speed gearbox, the new multi-link rear axle and, of course, the larger engine with a displacement of 3.8 liters and initially 310 HP. In the same year the valve control was modified, the engine output was now 315 HP.

The total production of the 993 Cup was 216 vehicles worldwide, 147 units with 310 hp (1994-1995) and 69 units with 315 hp (1996-1997). Our copy left the Porsche factory in 1997 and is therefore the more powerful and rarer cup version. The corresponding DMSB car pass was issued in 1997. From 1999 to 2001, chassis no. 398109 in use in the GTP series, among others in Spa, Mugello, Monza, Zandvoort, Hockenheim and the particularly historic Nürburgring. Most of the time this 993 was serviced by Manthey-Racing, in 2003 it received an official road approval which today sets it apart from other Cup vehicles and complements its intended use. In recent years, the vehicle has been part of a small collection of racing vehicles. Today, this 993 Cup presents itself in a technically good condition with sympathetic traces from a time when motorsport in Germany inspired countless fans. A 993 Cup is an extremely rare vehicle that can be used for Track Days or in this case on the country road. The greed for the next turning point and the extremely puristic driving experience delight everyone with petrol in their blood. You will hardly find a comparable agile, rare and emotional vehicle with motorsport genes in this price range and still have the opportunity to move it on public roads. You have the opportunity to drive on track to Track Day to experience a few laps there or just enjoy the emotions of a trip in the Alps. A balancing act that few vehicles can offer. Especially in connection with an original and not built Porsche, which at the same time represents a solid investment due to its extremely small numbers.
