• Acquired by our vendor in 2018 and subsequently imported into the UK, where it has been the subject of an extensive programme of restoration and sympathetic modification, most recently entrusted to Porsche specialists Carrera Classic Cars
• Finished in a respray of its original Pastel Blue, the car has been given a more purposeful appearance with widened wheel arches, lightweight fibreglass bonnet, front wings and bumpers, a smoothed front bumper, RS-style rear bumper and the removal of the side sill trims. It sits on black satin 15-inch Fuchs-style alloy wheels
• Enhanced interior with bucket seats, simplified door cards, replacement carpets, rear seat delete and a black Alcantara-trimmed MOMO Prototipo steering wheel with contrasting blue stitching. Equipment includes a top-tinted windscreen, heated rear screen, VDO instrumentation and an analogue clock
• Powered by its 2.2-litre flat-six engine coupled to a five-speed 901 manual gearbox, the Porsche has benefited from mechanical attention, including engine servicing, an overhaul of the braking system, replacement front shock absorbers and renewed fuel lines
• The accompanying history file includes invoices relating to the restoration, along with some photos and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
• With its distinctive colour scheme, purposeful detailing and considerable recent expenditure, this is an appealing interpretation of the early 911, combining the character of the original 911T with a number of carefully considered sporting enhancements
