The Volkswagen Type 1 Beetle changed the world. Like the stupendously successful Ford Model T, it was a simple, properly-engineered automobile that was inexpensive enough to bring motoring to the masses. And like the Model T, it was strong and reliable and was built around the world in mind-boggling quantities.

This attractive and rare Sunroof Beetle has spent more than 40 years with its second owner. The car has been re-sprayed in its original color of blue and is complemented by painted wheels, full polished wheel covers, whitewall tires and a roof rack. The interior is finished with a new correct-type white interior. The interior also sports an in-dash radio, under the dash storage tray and passenger side grab bar. Powering this iconic German motorcar is an air-cooled 1,192-cc flat four-cylinder engine that is thoughtfully paired with a four-speed manual transmission.
