Automobilist's official licensed design poster, the first MotoGP expansion to the signature Helmet Collection, commemorates the legacy of Mick Doohan, 5 times 500cc World Champion. Mick Doohan made his Grand Prix debut for Honda on an NSR500 two-stroke motorcycle in 1989, and won his first race in 1990. His true dominance began in 1994 when he won his first World Championship by more than 140+ points. Throughout his whole career, spent solely with Honda and totaling 95 podiums, 58 poles, 54 wins and 5 consecutive Championship titles (94, 95, 96, 97, and 98), Doohan's iconic Arai striped helmet kept him secure on the circuits. Designed by Aldo Drudi, the patterns pay homage to Doohan's motherland of Australia.

The Bugatti Type 35 was a phenomenally successful race car, winning over 1000 races in its time – including the Targa Florio in 1928. However, our Bugatti T35 poster does not depict the winner of that race, Albert Divo; it shows the car of fifth-placed Elizabeth Junek. Perhaps the greatest female driver of all time, Junek demonstrated that she could beat many of the world’s motoring elite. The race we’ve referenced in our artwork was particularly special because many of her male counterparts didn’t think she was physically strong enough to be taken seriously as a competitor – but they hadn’t accounted for her mental superiority. To really bring the car back to life, we’ve used a high quality paper stock for this limited edition of 1000 prints. The Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta is an automotive work of art. Ironically, however, it was born out of racing frustration. When torrential rains wreaked havoc on the 1952 edition of the Mille Miglia, making handling of previous A6 models a challenge, racing drivers pushed Maserati for improvements. One solution was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a closed “Berlinetta” body from Pinin Farina. The resulting masterpiece was first presented at the Turin Motor Show of 1954. With only four Pinin Farina models ever created, the A6GCS Berlinetta occupies a special place in automotive history. This 1,000-piece limited-edition poster depicts seven-time F1 Grand Prix winner Valtteri Bottas' car poised for action. It features Mercedes’ team colours and Automobilist's minimalistic aesthetics. Automobilist has become an Official Licensee with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport to produce a series of limited-edition prints celebrating the team's six consecutive FIA Formula One World Constructors' and Drivers' Championship titles, a feat never achieved in Formula One history. Each print features the 2019 season-winning Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ car and was created using our signature technique of digital 3D modelling to achieve a computer-generated image of awe-inspiring quality.
