A 52 inch "Royal Mail" Ordinary Bicycle by Read & Son of Boston, American, circa 1889, black painted tapered backbone applied with nickelled maker's plaque and mounting step, sprung saddle frame with replaced leather cover, nickelled headstock with detachable handlebars (repaired), lever front brake all with turned wooden grips, nickelled leg guard, nickelled front hub fitted with Abingdon cranks and original pedals with later rubber grips (detached original Royal Mail stamped white rubber pedal grips are sold with the lot), 52 inch diameter driving wheel with replaced crescent shaped rim and tangential spokes, replaced solid red rubber tyre, original trailing wheel with matching tyre. Subject to an overhaul by Pinkerton Cycle Restorations circa 2011, this machine is ready to race, ride or display.

A 52 Inch Rudge Ordinary bicycle, circa 1880, tapered backbone mounted with sprung saddle pad (lacking cover), rear step, fitted to headstock mounted with drop handlebars, turned wooden grips, lever handle to front brake also fitted with wooden grip, tapered flat forks to 52 inch driving wheel with crescent rim and black solid rubber tyre, bronze hub fitted with opposed radial spokes, bronze crank bracket marked '5594 D. Rudge's Patent No 526 1878', adjustable pedal cranks, open pedals with red rubber blocks, 16 inch trailing wheel with solid red rubber tyre, the once black painted metalwork with surface rusting overall.

An Abingdon "King Dick" Gentleman's Precision tricycle, British, Edwardian, black painted 26inch frame, the rear fitted with Abingdon No 4 (Patented 1901) rear hub, leather Brooks saddle, the handlebars fitted with period warning bell and Powell and Hanmer Citadel oil lamp, moulded plastic handle grips and front and rear lever brakes, later all metal pedals with replaced cranks, pneumatic tyres fitted to 25½ inch diameter front and 23½ rear wheels, used, in working and ride-able order.

An Abingdon "King Dick" Lady's Tricycle, British, Edwardian, black painted frame with curved top tube, adjustable saddle fitted with leather seat and leather tool roll with some tools, open pedals with black rubber blocks, chain with guard to rear Abingdon 'King Dick' No4 hub, the handlebars with rubber grips, simple lever brake to front wheel, bell and oil illuminated lamp, the pneumatic wheels fitted with front mudguard. A World War 1 four bladed wooden propeller by Lockraft & Westcott Ltd for 70Hp Renault No 10 areo engine, pre-1916, the hub stamped T 1453 Lockraft & Westcott Ltd, 70Hp Renault, NO104, with two embossed acceptance inspection stamps and blade numbers 1 to 4 on reverse face of blades, Company insignia transfer logos on each blade, light weight five plank laminated and doweled mahogany, with clear varnish finish, 276cm diameter.

An AC Cobra steering wheel by Moto-Lita, three spoke wheel with black leather stitched rim, 34cm diameter, offered together with an AC Cobra 2-page sales brochure, for the 289 Mk II model, 4to, two artworks depicting AC Cobra cars by Ian M Cunningham, and a print of an AC 427 Cobra, each framed and glazed.

A wooden two-bladed propeller to fit a Blackburn Cirrus Major III engine, 1930s, laminated construction, the hub stamped DRG.Z6011/3, D.6.75 P 4.51 86655, brass cover to leading edge of each blade, 206cm diameter, slight loss to trailing edge at tips, weathered.

The Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta is an automotive work of art. Ironically, however, it was born out of racing frustration. When torrential rains wreaked havoc on the 1952 edition of the Mille Miglia, making handling of previous A6 models a challenge, racing drivers pushed Maserati for improvements. One solution was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a closed “Berlinetta” body from Pinin Farina. The resulting masterpiece was first presented at the Turin Motor Show of 1954. With only four Pinin Farina models ever created, the A6GCS Berlinetta occupies a special place in automotive history.
