For sale: a beautiful and extensively documented 1968 Volkswagen Beetle 1300, finished in its original L30A Royal Red (Koningsrood) color. This Beetle has been professionally restored and tastefully backdated to the highly desirable 1966 appearance while retaining the benefits of the later chassis and mechanical components.

1966 Backdate Conversion
This Beetle has been carefully converted to resemble a 1966 model:

- Early-style front fenders
- Modified front trunk lid
- Modified engine lid
- Early-style rear lights

The result is the classic look of an earlier Beetle combined with the improved driving characteristics of the 1968 platform.

Restoration
The car underwent a comprehensive restoration between 2020 and 2026, with all work carefully documented. The restoration was completed to a very high standard.
