EXTERIOR
The world famous Porsche design 911 in arguably one of its best forms yet. The body on this collectable 997 is superb, still in its factory original paint and protected by a full PPF treatment it possess a wonderful deep lustre that looks particularly menacing in Black – perfectly accentuating the distinct waist line that tucks neatly into the rear bumper and spoiler arrangement. The front splitter is pleasingly free of scuffs or marks, thanks largely in part to the front-lift system one would suspect, whilst the front end and rear arches have evaded the usual dusting of stone chips. With aerodynamic upgrades, inclusive of flics at the front and a larger spoiler at the rear, downforce becomes a critical attribute to driving characteristics.

The adjustable carbon fibre wing, GRP engine cover and lexan rear window contribute to the lightweight theme with even the badge on the bonnet replaced by a sticker.

INTERIOR
Although bearing more than a passing resemblance to the Cup variant with a roll cage, this interior offers all modern day-to-day considerations. There are very little signs of wear to the seats, and the interior trim is free from chips or marks; inclusive of sill strips, gearbox tunnel and pedal box. The driving position is absolutely spot on with the carbon backed folding sports seats combining sublime levels of comfort with excellent road holding.

Standard road seat belts are fitted with the Schroth Racing Harnesses neatly packaged in the front should the urge to get on track become irresistible.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This is the most powerful naturally aspirated unit that Porsche have ever produced, It fires into life with a menacing growl with that familiar GT3 RS chatter and rattle from the race spec flywheel – aurally similar to it’s RSR stablemate.

Clutch / gear engagement are positive and whilst entirely manageable around town, the ‘box is an absolute joy to use when pressing on; with a bolt action throw and perfect pedal positions for heel and toe.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The Black wheels optioned on this car house red calipers, colour matching various accents on the car inclusive of seat belts and vinyl applied.

Alloys are unmarked and wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2’s with excellent tread all around.

HISTORY FILE
First registered on 24/08/2011 in France this 4.0L was imported and registered in the UK in 2018 as shown by the V5. Provided with the car is a clear 111 point check report from OPC Aachen in January of 2017, just 923 miles ago, alongside a clear rev range check between Ignitions 2 – 6, this RS is in superb mechanical and cosmetic order.

A very smart folder logs all paperwork from new while the service book shows 4 stamps from OPC’s over the cars life. Most recently the car was serviced by Porsche Centre West London on 17/07/19 where it was subject to another visual inspection as well as a service including plugs, with an invoice totalling over £2,000

2 keys and all original books are present and correct.
