Chassis No. WP0AC2995TS376226

Borrowing technology from the revolutionary 959 supercar, the 993 generation of Porsche's venerable 911 would simultaneously mark the first 911 Turbo to feature all-wheel drive and the last with an air-cooled engine. Offering a twenty percent improvement in torsional strength under acceleration over its rear-wheel drive predecessor thanks to the new all-wheel drive, 0-60 miles per hour would take just 4.4 seconds. With widened rear wheel arches and fixed "whale tail" rear wing housing the intercoolers, the 993 Turbo offered attractive, yet purposeful exterior styling. Ready to tackle any situation, Porsche would aptly describe the 993 as a car not built for just looking good but a true performance machine "built to depart for everywhere."

Offered with fewer than 31,000 miles at the time of cataloging, this U.S.-market 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo is finished in Black over a striking Leather-to-Sample Can-Can Red interior. Its accompanying Porsche-issued Certificate of Authenticity records that the Turbo was completed on 26 April 1996 and lists the following optional equipment: Lumbar Support - Left Seat, Self Dimming Mirrors & Rain Sensor, Supple Leather F/R, Shift Lever Knob/Boot in Leather, Front Floor Mats w/ 'Porsche,' Leather Parking Brake Lever, AM/FM Radio w/ CD Player, Rim Caps w/ Porsche Crest, Leather Welting Interior, Pirelli Tires. This full complement of desirable options brought the original MSRP to $114,226 when new.

The accompanying clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report notes that the Turbo was first registered in California in February 1997 showing 281 miles, with subsequent registration history in Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Virginia, and Montana. Invoices on file also note consistent service visits over the past decade, including replacement of the clutch disc and resealing of the transmission in 2019 at 29,693 miles, an annual service in 2018 at 29,530 miles, and an annual service and replacement of the air conditioning condenser in 2017 at 29,243 miles. Further invoices from Intersport in McLean, Virginia detail a major service in 2016 at 28,801 miles, encompassing a full fluid change, replacing the drive belts, upper and lower valve covers, ignition wires, intercooler hoses, front hood struts, and resealing the sunroof. This highly collectible 911 Turbo is an ideal way to experience the last turbocharged Porsche of the air-cooled era, in an uncommon and exciting color combination no less.
