Who couldn’t fall in love with the diminutive MG TC! Thousands of American GI’s did and back in the US the car became synonimous with anything sporty and British on four wheels. This example was imported from England into Switzerland by an enthusiast in 1972. In 1984 he had the engine overhauled followed, in between 2001 and 2004, by the coachwork, the interior and all mechanical bits. In 2011 the MG was sold to its next Swiss owner who, between outings, provided the perfect garage for his pride and joy, his living room! In 2017 the car was sold once more to its current owner who, being too tall to comfortably fit the tiny cockpit, regretfully has decided to let the MG go. The old UK registration book with four registered owners since 1960 and numerous maintenance records dating back to 1971 accompany the car. The most recent Swiss Veteran MOT was completed in August 2018.
