The Mercedes models were always poorly motorised compared to others available on the American market. That is why Mercedes introduced the 560SL (BM107.048) in 1985. The 5.6L V8 engine (M117E52) produced 227 HP (4,750 rpm) and 366 Nm (4,000 rpm). This 560 model was only available for the American, Australian and Japanese markets.

This Mercedes is in an original condition (hardtop, engine and transmission are all original). The car starts straight away and idles nicely at 800 rpm and it brakes properly. The engine has recently been overhauled as well as the transmission.

This Mercedes is equipped with all luxury options such as air conditioning, airbags, power windows, power locks, power steering, cruise control and a third brake light.

The car was repainted in June 2020, in the Netherlands, in the original colour code; Midnight Dark Blue (paint code 904). Also the interior is still in good condition as you can see in the pictures (the wood is wrapped in vinyl). The car comes with the original first-aid kit and a matching spare wheel. The soft-top is in a good condition as is the original hardtop.
