1957 Mercedes Benz 190 SL. Mercedes started production on this ponton based W121 in 1955 staying in production until 1963. It was the more affordable version of its bigger brother the 300SL Roadster. The 190SL has a 1900cc engine coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. It was and still is an elegant vehicle! Our 190SL is no different. It was restored and mechanically overhauled in the past.The lovely combination of a soft-top, black leather trim and silver paintwork suits the car down to a tee. This authentic European spec car is in great condition. The car was kept by its former owner for the last 15 years. The bodywork is in a very good condition. The sound body has correctly aligned body panels and nice, but not perfect, paintwork leaving you with an overall good impression. Mechanically it has been very well cared for and is fitted with the superior original Solex carburettors. The car drives and handles superbly. It has a lovely black leather interior trim with a nice patina and a black Sonnenland hood. This is a reliable and inflation proof classic, ready for now and the future!
