This Mercedes 190 SL in its rare original light blue (334G) left the works - according to its data card - on the 13th of March 1956 heading for Zurich. On the 29th of November of the same year the roadster was registered for the first time. The history of this early example with its rare bucket seats is not known. Apparently the roadster has been repainted in its original colour several years ago while the interior seems to be original showing an age correct patina. The coach work, engine bonnet and engine are matching numbers, making this 190 a very rare collector’s item indeed. The starter motor and the soft top have been replaced recently. The engine is running, and the gearbox shifts correctly. With its last Veteran MOT from the 10th June 2020 this lovely roadster may be registered in most cantons immediately.
