• The Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Cosworth is one of the most celebrated modern classic performance saloons in automotive history and was born out of M-B's desire to compete in motorsport, eventually becoming a dominant force in the DTM touring car series
• The standard 134 bhp 2.3-litre M102 four-cylinder was transformed by Cosworth Engineering who designed a unique light-alloy, DOHC, 16-valve cylinder head and in conjunction with aggressive cams and Mahle alloy pistons now offered 182bhp
• A close-ratio, five-speed, Getrag 'dog-leg' gearbox, a five-link rear multi-link suspension setup and a factory body kit, flared wheel arches and a rear spoiler completed the package 
• First registered in the UK on 29/04/1986, we understand that the car spent approximately 25 years in Spain and was previously owned by our vendor's grandfather
