Lexus LFA: A 9000 RPM Symphony.

Few Japanese automobiles have achieved the legendary status of the Lexus LFA. Produced between 2010 and 2012, the LFA was conceived as a pure expression of engineering excellence, craftsmanship, and performance. An uncompromising showcase of Lexus at its most ambitious.

At its heart lies a 4.8L N/A V10, developed in collaboration with Yamaha, producing approximately 552 HP and revving to an extraordinary 9.000 RPM. Its distinctive, high-pitched exhaust note is every bit as remarkable as its performance, becoming one of the defining signatures of the LFA. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes approximately 3.6 seconds, while top speed is around 325 km/h.

Lexus employed Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) extensively throughout the LFA, achieving an exceptional balance of low weight and structural rigidity. Inside, the same philosophy continues, with a driver-focused cockpit distinguished by its digital instrument display and beautifully executed combination of carbon fibre and leather.

With production strictly limited to just 500 examples worldwide, the LFA possesses a rarity that is matched by few modern supercars. Its significance extends beyond its numbers: Lexus invested extraordinary resources in the development of a car conceived without any established supercar lineage, resulting in an automobile that combined a high-revving naturally aspirated V10, advanced carbon-fibre construction, meticulous craftsmanship, and an unmistakable character.

This particular example is finished in Pearl White over Black and White leather and was delivered new to Lexus Auto Lackas GmbH, Germany in April 2013. A major service has been completed in January 2026 at Toyota Gazoo Racing Cologne, Germany. Remarkably, it has remained with a single French owner from new through March 2026.

Today, the LFA stands as one of the most distinctive and technically fascinating supercars of its era, a landmark in modern Japanese automotive history!
