Launched in 1979, the Lancia Delta is a sedan whose bodywork was designed by Giugiaro. Its perfectly balanced design remained virtually unchanged throughout its commercial life.
The Delta Integrale versions dominated the World Rally Championship from 1987 to 1992, winning six Constructors' World Championship titles. The secret of their success lies in the continuous evolution of the civilian models, in order to remain competitive on the special stages.
The latest evolution, the Delta Evoluzione 2, was launched in 1993. It benefits from an increase in the power of the Lampredi turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which now reaches 215 horsepower and a torque of 320 Nm.
The example we are offering was ordered on April 27, 1994, as evidenced by the order form still present in the file. Anecdotally, a Lancia Thema 16-valve was taken in on this purchase. Registered 57 KZA 75 at the time, this Delta remained in the hands of its first owner until 2003. During this period, it was maintained exclusively by the dealership in Levallois.
From 2003 to 2009, the car was in the hands of an enthusiast from Ariège, who continued to maintain it. In 2009, it changed hands and passed into the hands of an enthusiast from Pyrénées-Atlantiques, who kept it until 2018.
Regularly maintained, this Delta is in remarkable original condition, unaltered, and comes with its maintenance log and a complete file of invoices. The only change from the original is the car radio, which has been replaced, but the original radio is still with the car.
