Lamborghinis have never been produced in huge numbers, but even among these rare machines, the Diablo SV stands out as one of the most elusive raging bulls ever. Look at the Diablo’s production run of just over 2,900 units — around one quarter of the Aventador’s — and you’ll begin to understand. However, like many Lambo models, there were plenty of special editions to build to satisfy their most loyal customers, among them the ultimate rear-wheel-drive SV with only 346 examples produced. Since its debut at the Geneva auto show 1995, we have not only admired the breathtaking design conceived by Marcello Gandini but have also been captivated by the car's entire presence. The striking lines, aggressive stance, and timeless elegance of this masterpiece go beyond mere aesthetics
Our absolutely perfect Lamborghini Diablo SV was delivered new from Pierce Monte Carlo France in the rare color Balloon White, which is still 100% original. It came new with no SV stickers, black leather interior, airbag and body colored spoiler. The car's first owner N. Chapelle had only been driving the car for 2 years before selling it to its 2nd Belgian owner with only 11,000 kilometers. Since then, the car spent its entire life in Belgium. The car's second owner, H. Marianne, lived in the historic center of Bruges and rarely took the car out, averaging less than 2,000 kilometers a year in the car during the 13 years she owned it. After her ownership, she sold the car in 2015, which was still in absolutely immaculate condition, to a well-known Belgian Lamborghini aficionado. Since then, the car has hardly been driven, as evidenced by the perfectly guaranteed mileage. It joined his collection alongside some top-of-the-range Lamborghini collection cars such as an LM002, some other Diablo's including an SVR and his Countach. After about seven years of being part of his collection and attending a few Lamborghini events, the car changed hands again in 2022 to join an even larger collection. Once again, the car only came out for service and technical inspections, otherwise it was neatly tucked away in the collection.
2 years later and there is a unique opportunity for the purchase of this car. This car has absolutely everything a collector dreams of. An absolute mint condition Diablo Pré Facelift Sv in the rare color Balloon White with a fully documented history, stamped service book, original driver's manual, original tool roll's and above all 100% original paint! The interior completes the picture perfectly. The seats look as if no-one has ever sat in them, and even the door entry panels, which usually show signs of age, are nearly flawless.
This car is eager to get back on the road, and we must say it's almost a sin not to drive it, as it performs like a true beast. The 510-hp, 5.7-liter V12 engine starts up immediately and runs flawlessly, without any noise or irregularities. In addition the gearbox shifts through all the gears with butter-smooth ease, and the clutch has anything but trouble with the raw power of the V12 to which it is coupled. You would hardly notice that this car has such low mileage.
This car comes with the complete set:
- Original, stamped service booklet
- Original driver's manual
- Beautiful old photos of the car on Belgian roads
- Paint thickness measurements to guarantee the original paintwork
- Complete and guaranteed mileage with the official Belgian Car-pass
