Produced by the manufacturer Jensen Motors in its plant in Kelvin Way to West Bromwich, the Interceptor is a GT so British while remaining very International: its design is the work of the very Italian Carrozzeria Touring and its inexhaustible, breathtaking engine comes from the very American Chrysler.

The version Mark II, presented here, was proposed for sale in October 1969, with a style slightly revised around the headlights, the radiator grill, as well as the bumper and rear lights. The interior was considerably improved in order to respond to the U.S. regulations and the dashboard was redrawn.

The figures for the production and sale vary according to the Sources: according to Heon Stevenson, 6,407 Jensen Interceptors were produced.

La version Mark II ici présentée est proposée à la vente en octobre 1969, avec un style légèrement révisée autour des phares, de la calandre, des pare-chocs et des feux arrière. L'intérieur a été considérablement amélioré afin de répondre à la réglementation américaine et la planche de bord est redessinée.
