Estimated Price: £12,000 - £15,000
- The 2006 Jaguar XKR 4.2S Convertible 'White Badge' is a highly coveted, limited-edition grand tourer that marked the end of production for the first-generation (X100) Jaguar XK series
- Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 and sold through mid-2006, this variant is prized by collectors for its performance upgrades and distinct styling cues before Jaguar transitioned to the all-aluminium X150 platform
- The "White Badge" moniker stems from a unique Growler bonnet badge featuring a striking chequered-flag background, celebrating Jaguar's historical racing heritage. They were offered in four unique 'run-out' colours
- Other unique 'White Badge' features include 20-inch BBS 'Sepang' split-rim alloy wheels, cross-drilled Brembo brake discs with red callipers, a larger rear spoiler, darkened tail lights, factory Recaro leather seats, premium leather-edged floor mats, and polished door treadplates inset with chequered-flag emblems. The dashboard veneers were offered strictly in distinctive Elmwood or high-tech carbon fibre
- Mechanical upgrades include stiffer springs, firmer dampers, uprated anti-roll bars, sharper steering, and a 10mm lowered ride height. The speed limiter was now 174mph instead of 155
- First registered on 19th June 2006, this attractive, late-production example is finished in Copper Black Metallic with Charcoal leather and high-tech carbon fibre trim
- Indicating 80,583 miles at the time of cataloguing, with four former registered keepers and an impressive service history comprising 15 stamps, supported by numerous invoices. The history documents regular maintenance, together with Dinitrol rust protection treatment undertaken in May 2013
- Considerable recent expenditure includes a comprehensive service by an independent garage in August 2025 at 78,804 miles, costing £2,660. Work included an engine service, gearbox oil and filter change, replacement alternator, supercharger pulley, auxiliary belts and tensioner, front suspension bushes, steering rack gaiters, air-conditioning recharge and four-wheel alignment. A replacement steering rack was subsequently fitted in July 2026, with a new battery and rear parking sensors also fitted during the year
- Further recent expenditure includes over £1,000 on cosmetic attention to the front bumper by Premier Paintworx in September 2026, followed by professional paint correction and Gyeon ceramic coating by OCD AutoCare in October 2026, supported by invoices and coating warranty documentation.
- Accompanied by a detailed history file and offered with an MOT valid until April 2027. We encourage your inspection at the NEC Classic Motor Show Sale.
