Jaguar XK 120 OTS

British Racing Green, Green Suede interior, with a top in Gunmetal gray. That's how we like to see it at Peet Classics, what a beautiful color combination. The first owner to order this XK must have felt like a lucky bastard when he drove this rocket out of the showroom that day in 1952.
XK 120 - Open Two Seater, roadster - The very first XK series, which Jaguar launched as a successor to the famous SS100 previously sold under the name Silver Swallow. Equipped with Jaguar’s Chief Engineer William Heynes ’famed 3.4-liter six-cylinder with twin overhead camshafts, it shot you toward 200 km / h in late 1948. In the speed tests even 220+ km / h, with the windscreen removed.

This performance at a weight of less than 1300 kg led directly to a 1st place at Silverstone and also laid the foundation for the Jaguar XK120 C-types, with which Jaguar took home victories at Le Mans in 1951 and 1953.

This Jaguar:

Fully body-off restored in 2014, this XK is in excellent condition. The chassis was rebuilt, the body welded in the known places, the suspension renewed, the six-cylinder with transmission overhauled and equipped with the best available modifications. (including Mahle, Westwood, Guy Broad ..). The green leather interior is also in new condition and of course the dashboard, counters, lighting, cabling, chrome parts were all renewed.
