1993 Honda NSX-R:
--Formula Red, Red Alcantara Recaro Carbon-Kevlar bucket seats, Black carpeting, Neutron White Pearl lightweight Enkei wheels, 3.0 Liter DOHC V6 24-Valve VTEC with a redline of 8,000, 5-Speed manual transmission, Restored by NSX specialists in the UK, 49,000 Kilometers / 30,000 Miles, Rare 1 of 438 Produced, Immaculate throughout.

With a chassis tested by Ayrton Senna, the original NSX needs no introduction. The NSX combined the ultimate sports car driving experience with Japanese reliability and build quality; a tremendous accolade for the late 1980s compared to some of its Italian rivals. After Senna’s high praise for the everyday sportscar, he insisted the car needed a higher performance, hard core version to compete with Porsche’s lighter weight 911 RS. With Senna as a technical advisor, the NSX-R was born and reduced about 265 pounds off the car including less sound deadening, less undercoating, power steering removal, no sound system, no air conditioning (this car a/c was optioned back in), no spare wheel, a smaller battery, thinner glass, Alcantara upholstery and special Recaro Carbon-Kevlar bucket seats. The shift knob was made from Titanium and modeled after the same component on the McLaren F1. Honda added Aluminum body braces, stiffer suspension bushings, stiffer sway bar, stiffer dampers by Showa, stiffer coil springs and Lightweight Forged alloy wheels from Enkei. The NSX-R was the first time Honda had used the now infamous Red Honda logo badge.

Production lasted three years with 483 cars produced for the Japanese market. Built in December of 1992, this NSX resided in Japan until 2016 before being sold to a collector in Malaysia. It was immediate sent to a Honda and Mugen (Honda tuning company) specialist where the NSX received a full, no expense spared servicing. Everything was checked and replaced or rebuilt as needed to ensure all systems operated as intended. The NSX was then sold to its next collector owner, Mr. Graham Horgan of Surrey, England in 2018. Mr. Horgan is an NSX specialist and owns Plans Performance, which services and restores all JDM automobiles. As this NSX showed excellent history including the recent major servicing and retained its matching numbers engine and gearbox, he decided to complete a full cosmetic restoration and return it to original showroom glory. Upon completion, the NSX was mechanically checked and serviced again to ensure it is one of the best in the world.

This rare NSX-R is in exceptional condition throughout. A truly iconic sports car, the NSX is comfortable around town and turns into a hardcore track weapon. It is complete with all original books, tools, jack, keys and service records and ready for immediate enjoyment and collectability.
