CONDITION

This 1979 GMC Sierra Grande K2500 Camper Special is powered by a 454 big-block V8 paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and an NP203 transfer case. It is equipped with 4WD and shows 150,000 miles.

The engine has received a new rear main seal, refreshed gaskets, a double roller timing chain, new water pump, alternator, exhaust manifolds, high-volume oil pump, oil drive shaft with metal collar, distributor, and wires. Cooling upgrades include a 4-core aluminum radiator, and the engine is fitted with a new Edelbrock AVS2 650 carburetor with electric choke and an air-gap aluminum intake.

The truck also features a 4-inch Zone lift with new mud tires, new shocks, a steering stabilizer shock, custom gauges, braided brake lines, a refreshed brake system, and rebuilt rear drums. The exhaust uses Thrush glasspacks with 2.5-inch piping and 4-inch miter-cut tips.

Additional work includes a new 20-gallon fuel tank with sending unit, new grille, headlights, taillights, ignition switch, license plate lights, headlight switch, transmission pan gasket, transmission filter and fluid, governor gear, and U-joints. The engine starts in hot or cold weather, operates around 180 degrees even in high outside temperatures, and the transmission shifts smoothly.
