Beschreibung
"The Focus is a compact car designed under Alex Trotman's Ford 2000 plan, which aimed to globalize model development and sell one compact vehicle worldwide. The Focus was primarily designed by Ford of Europe’s German and British teams. The second generation Focus RS is the Focus that Ford originally claimed it was unlikely to manufacture, however they did and the latest ‘hot hatch’ was born. One of the most controversial aspects of the car was its drivetrain, which remained front, not four-wheel drive. After awarding the car five stars, this is what the team at Auto Express had to say about the new Ford Focus RS when launched: “The engineers have done an amazing job. It’s got storming performance, amazing handling and grip, but also real character thanks to that charismatic five-cylinder engine.”
First registered October 2009 this RS Mk II in Ultimate Green boasts the original private owner from new. This example also has the RS partial leather Dynamica seats and Bluetooth tech pack with Sony 6CD DAB specified from new, along with full paint shield protection, including PPF to front wings and bonnet and a Ghost-IT smart vehicle security system.
The owner then also decided to specify the Ford-approved Mountune Performance Ford 350PS pack. Four new Goodyear Eagle tyres were fitted July 2021, only 400 miles ago, and this example boasts a full Ford service history with fully stamped service book. The last service being 17th August 2022 at 48,161 miles, which was scheduled as a major service with Hendy Ford in Eastleigh. The original new vehicle order form from Ford and original brochure from 2009 are present in the history file. This car has been fastidiously looked after from the day it was manufactured by its sole owner since new. In Ultimate Green this truly is the holy grail of the Focus RS and will be a fabulous future investment.
