Beschreibung

Chassis No. ZFFLA40B000093846

Engine No. 31252

Introduced for 1992 as the Testarossa's successor, the 512 TR was far more than a facelift of the iconic Testarossa. Its 4.9-liter flat-12 sat 30 mm lower in the chassis, and a revised intake helped raise output to 428 CV, cutting the zero-to-100 km/h time to under five seconds and lifting top speed beyond 313 km/h. Writing in Road & Track, 1961 F1 World Champion Phil Hill wrote that beneath its bodywork lurked "about three quarters of an F40 with all the conveniences of any modern GT."

This Rosso Corsa over Beige 512 TR, chassis number 93846, is a European-specification example delivered new on 8 May 1992 by Auto La Rotonda Exclusive, an official Ferrari dealer in Florence. It was leased through Mercedes-Benz Finanziaria Merfina in Monteriggioni (and therefore registered in the province of Siena) by first owner Giorgio Pinchiorri, Italian sommelier and co-founder of the city's renowned Enoteca Pinchiorri restaurant. Ownership passed from the leasing company to Pinchiorri's son in 1996 and returned to Giorgio's name in 2015. The 512 TR remained with the Pinchiorri family until 2025.

Its stamped warranty and service booklet records its first service at 1,445 km by the selling dealer in July 1992 and the 10,000-km-interval service at 9,551 km in May 1993. Auto Sport Maranello of Florence performed the 20,000-km-interval service at 18,385 km in March 1997. The 40,000-km-interval service was stamped in June 2018 at 40,154 km, with the timing belts noted as replaced, and periodic inspections are recorded in the registration booklet through November 2025. The booklet also records the original engine number as 31252, matching the number present on the car today.

In January 2026, the car received its 50,000-km-interval service at Officina Prampolini Mauro in Carrara. Parts sourced from Eurospares included a clutch, timing belts and bearings, front and rear brake discs and pads, brake hoses, filters, spark plugs, and numerous gaskets and seals. The workshop also renewed the fluids and recharged the air conditioning, and invoices for parts and labor total more than €15.000. In spring 2026, the car was certified by the Registro Fiat Italiano and entered in its Albo Storico.

Showing 50,828 kilometers at the time of cataloging, chassis 93846 presents an opportunity to enjoy a well-maintained example of the more powerful and refined version of the already spectacular Testarossa. It is offered with a five-piece set of Schedoni luggage, Tubi Style exhaust silencer, tool kit, warranty and service booklet, owner's manual, dealer directory, leather document wallet, 512 TR spare parts catalog, and a file of registration documents and invoices.
