Chassis 27551 is a carbureted version of the legendary Berlinetta Boxer, finished in its original colour combination Argento Auteuil 106-E-1 Salchi with Pelle Nera VM 8500 to the interior.
Factory records inform us that 27551 was supplied new in May 1979 via Ferrari dealer Walter Bordese S.r.l of Torino in Italy, however it was purchased by a Swiss enthusiast whom imported the car to Switzerland that same year.
Whereas the car’s early whereabouts aren’t exactly known, we know that it was subsequently sold to a prominent Ferrari collection in Germany, nearby Munich, where it remained for many years.
During its German ownership the car was regularly maintained by official Ferrari dealer Saggio with minimal use. Later in its life 27551 was sold to its current owner who had the car going through a major belts service in 2015 and the Classiche Certification which was successfully received in late 2017.
Presented in its original colour scheme and detailed to perfection, 27551 would enhance any Ferrari collection.
