Ferrari 512 BB

From Paris to Perpignan, via Cannes and Toulouse to Bordeaux, and eventually ending up in the Netherlands. This extraordinary beautiful 512 BB with matching numbers and colors has seen many beautiful places. The question is: are you fully committed to continue the ultimate Ferrari journey?
The classic Italian on your screen is perfectly maintained, in excellent shape and has only driven 250 km (!) since its last major service. In brief, it’s an exceptional gorgeous machine that deserves to be seen. The more locations it visits, the better it is in a society that’s hungry for power, class and style!

History

Paris was the place where the magic started back in November 1979: after the delivery a brand new legend was born. The original French owner brought his Italian pride to Port Leucate: the "naked" Saint Tropez of the French southeast coast. From this sunny destination, the Ferrari began to write history.
Until 1995 the car was serviced by specialists from Toulouse, Cannes and Bordeaux. Slowly the 512 moved more and more west- and upwards. A peak was reached when it arrived in Oss, Holland. Forza Service was the designated specialist for a complete engine overhaul in 2004. A year later the gearbox followed. Major maintenance, including brakes, timing belt and water pump, dates from 2009. Since then, the silver beauty has driven only 250 kilometers! More recent are the replacement of the clutch (2014) and ignition adapted to an MSD system for a more efficient working V12 engine.

Exterior & design

The Ferrari 512 BB looks the way it was taken care of all these years: flawless. The silver lacquer on the powerful bodywork is just as spotless as it is timeless. The relatively long front and short back contribute to the athletic appearance. The black parts contrast sublimely and make the very wide and low bodywork even look more slender. We can’t take our eyes off this magic machine!
The 512 is unmistakably a Berlinetta Boxer, but unlike predecessor 365 GT4, it’s characterized by a sharper designed "chin spoiler" and so-called "NACA ducts" A.K.A. air intakes between the doors and rear wheels.

Interior & technique

Whoever gets under the skin of all this outer splendor, falls from one surprise into another: inside, driver and passenger are surrounded by super stylish Rosso leather, combined with a Nero leather dashboard and ditto 3-spoke steering wheel. The upholstery and every other part is fully original, authentic and very smooth. It invites you to take a seat immediately...
A V12 is magnificent. A Ferrari V12 is masterly. And a "Flat 12" in the back of an Italian thoroughbred is magistral, just like this 512 BB. The 12 cylinders together have a capacity of 4.9 liters and produce 360 hp. In addition to the high performance, the boxer engine manages to impress with its sound. 928 other Ferrari’s once sounded the same. Not many. Now there are even fewer. So we recommend you: don't wait too long...

Kind regards,
