The Ferrari 412 succeeded the 400 i, retaining its predecessor's elegant, understated lines while gaining improved aerodynamics, body-colored door sills and bumpers, and a more generous trunk in this refined 2+2 configuration. Beneath the hood, a 4.9-liter engine with fuel injection brought the power output to a confident 340 PS. It was also the first Ferrari to be fitted as standard with Bosch anti-lock brakes (ABS).

Of the 576 Ferrari 412s produced, only 270 were factory-equipped with the highly desirable five-speed manual transmission. But how many of them can still be found in 2026 in such original condition, with just 52,256 kilometers and documented by its original stamped service book and its all-important Ferrari Classiche Red Book?

Delivered new through Sonauto S.A. in September 1987 in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland, the car is finished in the beautiful combination of Argento Metallizzato over a beige leather interior, an understated and elegant color scheme that perfectly complements the restrained beauty of its Pininfarina-designed body.

The car is offered with its original factory books, preserved in their Schedoni leather pouch, as well as a Ferrari 412 press kit. The original stamped service book documents servicing initially performed by the supplying dealer and lately by Racing Car SA in 2013, at which time the car had covered just 50,391 kilometers.

Above all, the Ferrari 412 is accompanied by the highly coveted Ferrari Classiche Certificazione di Autenticità, issued by Ferrari S.p.A. in Modena in March 2018, attesting to the car's authenticity and confirming that it remains fully matching numbers.

Acquired by its current owner in 2021 from its first owner, renowned Ferrari collector Giorgio Perfetti, this exceptionally rare and well-documented Ferrari 412 is a superb example of Ferrari's front-engine V12 tradition.
