The car we are presenting is a desirable 308 GTB first registered on May 24th 1978 and now with 62 000 km under its belt. It is the most sought after version, with dry sump and without catalysts. Discreet in its original black paint colour, which makes a nice change from the omnipresent rosso corsa, this car has a very good general appearance and has been subjected to a complete inspection carried in May 2017 by Mr.Jean-Philippe Noisette, an officially approved car surveyer working for Experveo at Levallois-Perret. This Ferrari 308, which has been entirely repainted, has a massive file of invoices and MOTs (obligatory periodic tests) showing that it has been regularly and meticulously maintained since 1995, the year when she was acquired by an enthusiast living in Alsace. She changed hands again in December 2004 having covered 48 950 km (verified in the previously mentioned inspection) and was then based in the Reims region. Her current owner bought her in 2014 and he entrusted GP Sport, a specialist in the Oise department, to undertake a full service and verification at a cost of 6000 €. Since then she has been maintained by the Atelier Laugier Mécanique in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, a specialist of classic cars and the most recent major invoice dates from February 2018. The electric cabling has been changed and new Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres fitted. This model has been hard to find at less than 120 000 € in recent times and our car has much to be said for it and represents a favourable opportunity.
