We have a very nice fully restored and mechanically overhauled 1965 ChevroletCorvette C2 Stingray convertible now available. The car has a Pearl Silver finish with black vinyl interior trim. This Chevrolet Corvette was an American supplied car when new and arrived in the Netherlands in 1993. Once in the Netherlands, it was subjected to a rigorous mechanical overhaul and restoration program. It took until 2012 before the project came to completion and once more ready to hit the road, being able to attract admiring glances on Dutch roads. The car has been in the same ownership since 2012. The fact that the car has been sparingly used would go a long way in explaining its current lovely state. The correctly aligned bodywork is in excellent condition. With only minor signs of use, the Pearl Silver finish is in very good condition. The neat black convertible hood fits securely. The restoration also included new black vinyl upholstery and black carpets. The dashboard, controls, switches and gauges are all in very good condition and all work as they should. Of course, the lovely juicy V8 engine is responsible for driving this car along. The engine here has a 4-barrel carburettor and measures 426 cubic inches (6.9 litres). A number of sensible upgrades were installed during its overhaul such as the electrically fanned aluminium radiator, new electric looms, spark plug cables and distributor. Simply put, all add-ons have been either replaced or overhauled. As a result, the engine bay is nice and spruce. It looks new because for the greater part it is made up of new parts. The engine is attached to a manual 4-speed gearbox. The enhance the handling, electric power steering has also been fitted. As mentioned above, since being restored the car has been sparingly used. As a consequence, there is nothing at all amiss with this Corvette. Being fully restored and mechanical overhauled does not mean that since then its routine service and maintenance has been ignored. This Corvette comes with a number of invoices detailing whilst not use a lot its owners never scrimped on maintenance.
