The second generation of the Corvette started in 1963 and ended in 1967. This version was designed by Larry Shinoda and was inspired by project Q Corvette, the car produced and designed by Peter Brock and Chuck Pohlmann under the supervision of Bill Mitchell. Other sources of inspiration were the lines of the Jaguar E-Type and the so-called Mitchell Sting Ray, a special car owned by the same Mitchell, which was inspired by the shapes and colours of the Mako shark.

The Corvette C2 is seen less often and is becoming a rarity on the streets, especially now that the Corvette was repainted (in the Netherlands) last November with a beautiful deep black coat of paint, this is a sturdy appearance!

This is a car that starts immediately, idles nicely, accelerates powerfully and shifts smoothly through all gears (it also produces a wonderful sound). The Corvette engine with 300 HP provides sufficient power! The original interior still looks very fresh.
