Completed on 11 October 2000, this Z8 left the factory finished in Titan Silver Metallic over a Red and Black Nappa leather interior complemented by striking red carpets. Delivered on 4 November to BMW dealer Garage Muzzolini in Luxembourg, the car was sold and registered to its first owner in March 2001. The service book and ownership history show this Z8 was serviced and maintained in France, and that by 2003, the car was registered there. It passed through the hands of three further owners before being acquired by the consigning owner in November 2015, when the odometer read just over 60,000 kilometres.

Today, the car retains its factory-correct colour scheme and matching-numbers 4.9-litre S62 V-8 engine. A new BMW AGM battery was installed in 2021, the body was ceramic coated, and the odometer read 63,180 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. The car is accompanied by its leather folio, spare key, books, tool roll, and hardtop complete with stand.
