BMW Z4 GT3

Model History
Introduced as the successor to the Z4 M Coupé, the BMW Z4 GT3 marked a bold new era for BMW Motorsport's customer racing program. Developed to meet FIA GT3 regulations, it quickly became a fan favorite and a dominant force in endurance racing by the early 2010s.
Unlike its road-going counterpart, which featured a folding hardtop and a six-cylinder engine, the GT3 variant utilized a lightweight steel body shell with carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) bodywork and a fixed roof. Its heart was the legendary 4.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 (derived from the BMW M3), mounted low and far back in the chassis for a near-perfect front-mid engine balance. Paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox, this high-revving powertrain delivered the visceral sound and sharp throttle response that defined the Z4's racing character.
With its iconic flared wheel arches, massive rear wing, and aggressive aerodynamics, the Z4 GT3 established itself as a highly agile and refined racer, successfully bridging the gap between raw BMW M power and modern GT competition pedigree.

Chassis History
Chassis 1034 stands as a prominent example of the BMW Z4 GT3’s competitive era, consistently campaigned by the renowned Vita4One Racing Team under the leadership of Michael Bartels. As a chassis run by one of BMW’s most trusted partner teams, 1034 was at the forefront of major international GT competitions, frequently benefiting from factory-level support and elite driver lineups.
A defining moment in this car’s history occurred in 2012 at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Competing as a works-supported entry, Chassis 1034 battled through the "Green Hell" to secure a P9 finish against a world-class field. The car was piloted by an exceptional roster of BMW specialists: Jens Klingmann, Marco Wittmann, Fredrik Göransson, and Pedro Lamy. That same year, the chassis traveled to Azerbaijan for the high-profile Baku City Challenge, where it achieved a P6 finish driven by an extraordinary pairing of racing royalty: former Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen.
Throughout the 2013 season, Chassis 1034 remained a fixture on the European endurance circuit, competing in the Blancpain GT Series and the ADAC GT Masters. It tackled the continent's most demanding circuits, from the high-speed straights of Monza to the technical sectors of Navarra. Notably, the car returned to the Spa 24 Hours in 2013, where it was campaigned by the trio of Franchi, Colombo, and Kechele, further cementing its status as a proven long-distance contender. Today, Chassis 1034 is recognized not only for its technical resilience but for its remarkable association with some of the greatest names in motorsport. With a pedigree that includes a Top 10 finish at the Nürburgring 24h and a storied history under the Vita4One banner, it remains a significant piece of BMW Motorsport’s GT3 legacy. Following a meticulous, ground-up rebuild by the masterminds at Vita4One, Chassis 1034 is presented in absolute pristine condition with zero hours on its powertrain, a huge optional spare parts package, standing ready as a turnkey masterpiece for its next owner.
