The Roadster is just 100 kilos heavier than the Coupé version and has the same aluminum chassis architecture which means it is extremely rigid, even for a 'roofless' car.

The 385 hp 4.3-liter V8 engine is mated to a 6-speed Sportshift robotic manual transmission and rockets the baby Aston to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5 seconds. With the top down, its "song" becomes louder, enhancing the driving experience and driving pleasure.
