Nicknamed "Annie" this unit was built in Italy in 1921 as a rolling chassis. It was Shipped to New Zealand, where it was equipped with a 2 seater sporty open body, built by Stevens & son from Christchurch (NZ).

Is fitted with a powerful engine with modern techniques such as overhead camshaft (OHC) and a crossflow cylinder head. Very fast and powerful, see video attached.

The car was cherished by only 1 owner since 1960, Mr. Stephenson from Christchurch. Annie even emigrated with him to Perth, Australia. Participated in many events (see all the plaques on the dashboard). Mr Stephenson has always maintained "Annie" very well and found 2 extra engines and gearboxes as spares.

"Annie" has an extensive documentation folder with information about Ansaldo, including a manual and parts book (copy) but also old photos, the oldest dating from 1960.

In 2015 Annie was brought back to Europe by current seller. Back then the car won a prize at the Concours D’Elegance in Antwerp and now for sale. The car is in good general conditions, with an old restoration and nice patina (see photos).
