Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0

Looking for technical perfection in the shape of an Alfa Romeo GTV classic? This is where the searching ends. In fact, even those who had not yet added the Alfa GTV to their wish list are now scratching their heads. And there are multiple reasons: a rock-solid bottom (not welded!), set of new tires, brakes, suspension + rubbers. But also the hardy disk, cylinder head, exhaust and shock absorbers have been renewed. The timeless lacquer and super chic upholstered interior make this classic Alfa Romeo an absolute unique offer. All documentation is included. And of course the well-known 2.0 liter engine with double Dell'Orto carbs is too!

History
The Alfa Romeo Alfetta series was produced from 1972-1987. The Alfetta berlina (sedan, built until 1984) was considered the basis, but the 1974 GTV (formerly Alfetta GT) clearly went its own way in terms of design. The Italians used the name “Alfetta” – meaning “little Alfa”, as a link to their successful 1951 Formula 1 car: the Alfa Romeo Tipo 159 Alfetta. Our 4-seater GTV can be recognized by its stunning condition. A condition like no other! Technically, the classic Romeo has been thoroughly overhauled. In addition, the bottom is 100% solid and not welded; unique! All invoices are included.

In- & exterior
The Alfa Romeo "Alfetta" GTV 2.0 (not to be confused with the 1994 GTV and Bertone designed 1971 2000 GTV (Veloce)) is a characteristic Fastback Coupe, sketched by the one and only Giorgetto Giugiaro at ItalDesign. Centro Stile Alfa Romeo put the finishing touches to the iconic sports car and gave the model a restyling in the early 80s. Rear light units, bumpers, air intakes in the C-pillar and side skirts were re-designed. Especially for the 2.0 version, the 14-inch rims were upgraded to 15-inch wheels including a disc design. Finally, the triangular grille was given a matte black finish. The double round headlights and striking roofline remained untouched. The body of our GTV is finished in grey, making it a little more elegant. The genuine 2+2 interior is stylish as well: light beige upholstered seats en door panels in combination with a dark brown floor and wooden 3-spoke steering wheel; yummy! Its great shape also helps of course.

Technique
There’s nothing wrong with falling in love with a classic. However, the keep the love alive, the basis must be flawless. In the case of this Alfetta GTV, you can take that very literally, referring to the rock-hard, unwelded bottom. Furthermore, the cylinder head of the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine with double Dell'Orto carbs has been renewed. The replaced exhaust system sounds as it should and the revised hardy disk, suspension, shock absorbers + rubbers also do their job perfectly. This GTV 2.0 is technical art! A set of new brakes and tires guarantee grip in every way. In short, a true driver's car! Give it a go soon in Holland.
