SALES INFORMATION
Every time we think we have seen and experienced everything in the classic car world, and then you suddenly come to the conclusion that there are still original and unrestored cars, in a state that you do not think is possible. We recently experienced that moment again after opening a garage full of Italian classics. A great Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint from the year 1962 was waiting for us for review. Then our 40 years of experience shows up, and we soon saw that we are dealing with a very original car in a great condition. After we had convinced ourselves even more that everything detail is as we had hoped, the owner proudly took the file from his desk and this also exceeded our expectations. Invoices, letters, the original manual, and even an tool to make a choice out of the available colors is present

The history of this Coupe, designed by the master himself: designer Bertone, starts in 1962 with the production, carried out by Officine Stampaggi Industriali (OSI), a ‘carrozzeria’ with very skilled people, which was founded by the former president of Ghia, Luigi Segre. The Sprint, sprayed in the chic Rosso Amaranto color was ordered by Mr. Giudici, a born and raised Neapolitan. Despite being the owner for many years, he only drove 9000 km, because Giudici ended up in a wheelchair and could therefore no longer drive it. After his death, his son Attilio, who lives in Rome and was a well-known writer and psychologist, inherited the car. However, he barely looked after the car and it to Mr Scalio, an avid enthusiast from Portici, just below Naples. He decided to have the car sprayed completely because the paint wasn’t shining anymore. Then the car was storaged in his garage together with his two Lancias. A Fulvia Coupe and a Flavia Coupe. The Alfa, however, was never registered on his name and was still on the name of the first owner. Mr. Scalio had no children and the two cousins he offered his collection had no interest in his legacy because they had no feelings with classic cars. So in 2014 he decided to sell the beautiful Alfa 2600 Sprint and passed it directly to the Dutch owner as a supplement to his beautiful collection of Italian classics. He maintained the car perfectly and various invoices prove this.

Now, however, the time has come to say goodbye to a number of his cars because the pre-war, which he just bought from us, requires all his attention and time. We have therefore gladly accepted the assignment to find a new owner for the beautiful Italian and are convinced that the enthusiast of this type of car will be amazed by so much originality and purity. We can of course do our best to write entire paragraphs about how good the car is and how smoothly the engine runs, how beautiful the old paint is and the interior, but at the end it is all about one thing: your passion for this Italian beauty. How nice would it be if you are the one who will continue the wonderful history of this Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint ..
