Chassis CSX 2399 is an original Shelby Cobra that was delivered to its first owner in San Francisco during the Summer of 1964. It remained in the USA until 1988 when it was exported to Germany. It was kept for 14 years by a Dr. Burgel until 2002 when it came to the UK. In 2005 it was sold to an English owner in the South of France who kept it there for 12 years. The car has been inspected by marque experts who have confirmed the originality of the car as evidenced by the chassis plate and number stampings of bonnet catch, bootlid catch, door hinge panels, and chassis leg. Offered for sale in road spec but with potential as a competition car for rallying or full blown racing. A weighty history file accompanies the car with many period documents including it original licence application and build sheet.
