The 125 Sport was undoubtedly the most representative and most successful model of the Rumi production. This motorcycle production began at the end of 1950 and was presented to the public in 1951 at the Milan Trade Fair (EICMA). Its unusual line with an elegant livery and the roar of its cylinder surprised a whole generation. The engine was equipped with pistons with a deflector, patented by the factory, which was later mounted on all Rumi. In 1953, 1955 and 1956 the Sport was improved modifying first the carburettor, then the transmission type and finally in the chassis: adjusting the rear suspension and assembling the Aimon iron rims. The list price was set at 235,000 lire. The bikes production ceased in 1958.
