For sale is this magnificent 1978 BMW R80 as a 1 of 1 commissioned pro-build dubbed "The Rocket" with 1000cc Siebenrock Power kit, a bobber concept bike created at vintage BMW motorcycles specialist Side Rock Cycles, more specifically by Pete Hudson. The bike has completed just 2,300 miles since a complete engine overhaul and rebuild.

This beautiful Machine has been hand crafted into a classic masterpiece. Underneath its old-school exterior, as the bike has also been kitted out with plenty of modern technology, bringing it into the 21st century.

I purchased The Rocket in August 2022 from Moore Speed Racing in Poole and had it transported to Switzerland for personal use. I am the second owner since the completion of the build in 2018 and have covered less than 100 miles since purchase.

The bike is currently based in Geneva, Switzerland and is looked after by Meister Engineering (https://www.meister-engineering.com/). All related invoices for new battery, carbs calibration and bits are, of course, available since my ownership. Any inspection is welcome in Geneva by appointment. Shipping costs to UK are in the region of GBP 500-600.

The bike is still UK registered with all the necessary ownership documentation (V5, etc).
