Piaget

Georges Édouard Piaget was a farmer who, in order to have an additional income, started a workshop for high-precision movements in Switzerland, 1874. After World War II, the grandsons of the founder decided to take the company one step further by expanding geographically, and investing in marketing. This gave a substantial boost to the company, and helped it to became one of the most important watchmakers. The company's famous collections are the 'Black Tie', 'Altiplano' and 'Piaget Polo'. Since 1988, the company is part of the Richemont luxury group.
