The S63 is based on the flagship of the Stuttgart house, the S-Class (SonderKlasse – “Special Class”), but adopts a shorter wheelbase and a lower, more muscular body. Despite its sporting credentials, it is not a small or light vehicle, and that is what is most impressive about its performance, is that despite weighing over two tons, at the wheel the S63 seems lighter and smaller!

The main culprit is the 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 engine which, with 585 HP and 900 Nm of torque (nine hundred, yes!), accelerates to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and guarantees recoveries typical of a “Millenium Falcon”. !

The Airmatic suspension also plays a very important role in the handling of this Mercedes. On the one hand, it helps to disguise the weight of the entire package and, on the other, it also allows sporty driving and dynamic behavior that is truly surprising!
