Das Citroën DS Chapron Cabriolet ist zweifellos ein Meisterwerk der Automobilgeschichte. Der Erstbesitzer fuhr das Cabriolet 3 Jahre, bis er 1971 verstorben ist und der Wagen von einem ehemaligen Angestellten übernommen wurde. Dieser entschied sich die in Original weiß lackierte „Göttin“ aufgrund einer Verfärbung an der Türe vollständig in Rot um zu lackieren. Nach 30 Jahren und etlichen Instandhaltungsarbeiten beschließt der Zweite Besitzer aufgrund gesundheitlicher Umstände den Wagen zu veräußern.

2001 erwarb der heutige Besitzer den Citroën und pflegte diesen bis zum heutigen Tag. Der Zustand des Cabriolets ist tadellos und wurde in einem Gutachten mit der Note 2+ bewertet. Es ist ein wahres Sammlerstück welches als DS 21 M Werkscabriolet nur 128-mal gebaut wurde. Die Historie ist umfangreich dokumentiert in Bild und Schrift. The Citroën DS Chapron convertible is undoubtedly a masterpiece of automotive history. Designed by the legendary French coachbuilder Henri Chapron, this convertible embodies pure elegance. This example, which we are offering for sale, left Henri Chapron's studio in 1968 and went to an architect in Lucerne.

The first owner drove the convertible for 3 years until he past away in 1971 and the car was taken over by a former employee. He decided to repaint the "goddess", which was originally white, completely in red due to a discoloration on the door.
