ROSE GOLD DEMI-HUNTER WITH DOUBLE DIAL AND FULL CALENDAR, CIRCA 1880
Four body polished 18K rose gold case, n. 51745, engraved and enameled cover with Roman numerals.
White enamel dial signed "Calendrier Breveté”, centered aperture for the moon phases, Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. On the back side an additional dial shows the days of the week and of the month. Blued double-poires hands.
Unsigned key-less movement, nickel-plated with fausses-côtes decoration, counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with screws, blued Breguet hairspring. Numbered on the satellites plate 51745. Calendar system based on the patent of Henri Jacot-Burmann.
