CHRONOGRAPH PINK GOLD
Touchon & Co., Geneva, No. 250304. Made circa 1900.
Fine and rare, 14K pink gold, keyless pocket watch with
split-second chronograph and progressive 30-minute
register. Accompanied by a period fitted wooden box.
Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished, co-axial button
in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions
of the chronograph, button in the band at 11 for
the split-seconds. Hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel with Arabic numerals, red outer Arabic
minute and fifths of a second chronograph ring, sunk
subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register. Black steel
spade hands.
17''', rhodium plated, 23 jewels, straight line lever
escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic compensation balance,
blued steel Breguet balance spring with swan neck
micrometer regulator, chronograph with visible work.
