Original ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL SUBMARINER 5513 NO DATE BLACK RARE SPIDER DIAL STAINLESS STEEL watch, made in 1984. In 1962 Rolex launches the SUBMARINER reference 5513 available in stainless steel, years after holding the new caliber 1520. Exploring Submariner - one of the most popular brand models, is a never ending story. Time has altered the black color of the dial of this model to give it a "cobweb" effect. In fact, due to this characteristic the name given to this model is "Spider Dial". This peculiarity of the paint which turns into a "spider's web" is highly appreciated by Rolex collectors, and occurs especially in watches with a "circular edged index" dial made in the 1980's. The watch is in a fully working order and is in good condition, despite its existence for several decades. This model features the original black dial, with cream hour markers, signed "Rolex", " Oyster Perpetual", "Submariner", "660ft=200m", "Swiss -T < 25". The case made from stainless steel, has 60-minute graduated rotatable bi-directional black color bezel, case measuring approximately 40mm (1,57 inch) across excluding the crown and 48mm (1,88 inch) from lug to lug is in good condition, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Rolex” logo.
